Bruce Stephenson

Bruce Stephenson is an Environmental Studies professor at Rollins College.  His most recent book, “John Nolen, Urban Planner and Landscape Architect”, earned the 2016 JB Jackson Book Award.

As a consultant, he helped prepare the Winter Park Central Park Master Plan and has led the ecological restoration of the Genius Preserve, which received the 1000 Friends of Florida Community Betterment Award.

The Principal Investigator for an EPA Sustainability Grant, he prepared, “Sustainable Enterprise: Activating SunRail in Winter Park”, that informed a series of projects to improve bicycle and pedestrian mobility.

He currently serves on the Pearl District Planning Committee in Portland, Oregon, and the Orlando Sustainability Task Force.
