Jenifer Rupert
Jenifer has returned to the Regional Planning Council to develop and implement an EDA funded project to focus on Regional Resiliency. Since returning, she created and ushered the resolution for the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council to develop a framework for a Resilience Collaborative and continues to lead the effort to unite the local governments around the collaborative initiative. In addition, she formed a network of Emergency Management Directors and their respective Long-Term Recovery Group Chairs to support and enhance their front-line efforts to improve resilience in communities.
Jenifer continues establishing and maintaining partnerships with the philanthropic community, academic institutions, civic groups and local businesses to create a collaborative ecosystem in East Central Florida.
Jenifer was with the planning council for close to ten years as the creator and Program Manager for the Regional Greenway and Trail Workgroup; the Technical Director for myregion.org, a trainer for the Department of Homeland Security and assisted in implementing Legislature enacted school concurrency to name a few.
She retired to the consulting world and then became Managing Partner of her own company where she directed day to day operations, developed and administered budgets and maintained all levels of government compliance.
